Who would have thought that photographing Cushions would be so difficult? Well I never did that’s for sure and neither did our photographer Evan Munro-Smith when I called him after many years had lapsed between shoots on community television.
Of course Evan raised to the Challenge, after all it was only Cushions right? Wrong!! We both soon realised that product shoots were very deceiving and just like shooting people, these products had to look their best and the tiniest thing made the biggest difference. Our cushions would appear so differently and it was all based on the having the right lighting and of course positioning the cushions in an upright position, making sure there were no lumps and bumps and of course getting the colour right.
